Understanding Facebook Ads audiences (3 types)

Welcome to the No Pay No Play podcast.

In this episode, Antoine Dalmas explains Facebook Ads audiences. He explains the three types of audience: custom audiences, lookalike audiences and interest audiences. He gives advice on which audiences to use first and explains how to use them effectively.

Antoine also shares a structure he recommends for beginners on Facebook Ads. He recommends having a CBO campaign with one or two interest audiences and one or two active ads.

He invites listeners to tune in to other episodes to find out more, and to join the J7 Academy to learn more about Facebook Ads.

What to retain:

There are three types of audience on Facebook Ads: custom audiences, lookalike audiences and interest audiences.

Custom audiences are used for retargeting and are based on actions taken by users on and off Facebook.

Lookalike audiences are created from custom audiences and are used to acquire new customers.

Interest audiences are based on users' interests and are recommended for Facebook ads beginners.

The structure recommended for beginners is a CBO campaign with one or two interest audiences and one or two active ads.
