J7 Media is looking for a Tracking & Analytics expert who will be responsible for setting up, managing and optimizing data and conversion tracking systems for our clients. This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday. The person must be located in Canada or Spain.
Main Responsabilities :
- Build, configure and manage data and conversion tracking systems for our customers' websites, such as :
- Clean up scripts in customer website code to optimize performance
- Configuring GTM server-side containers, GA4 (properties and audiences), "Enhanced conversions", Facebook CAPI/Pixels or third-party tools like Addingwell / Stape.io.
- RGPD compliance
- Configuring "Consent mode v2
- Setting up server-side tracking
- Working with tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), Facebook CAPI, and other tracking platforms.
- Configuration of datalayers on various CMS (Shopify, Magento, Wix, Prestashop, etc.)
- Analyze tracking systems in place for customers in order to make optimization recommendations to have better structured data for decision-making and avoid erroneous analyses.
- Provide technical support to customers to resolve tracking and conversion issues.
- Work closely with marketing, web development and design teams to ensure smooth integration of tracking solutions.
- Carry out quality control testing to ensure that the deployment of tracking systems works within the ecosystem of each client mandate.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and keep them informed of progress and results.
Requirements :
- Degree in marketing, computer science, data analysis or related field;
- 3 to 5 years' experience in setting up and managing data tracking and conversion systems; proficiency in tracking and analysis tools, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (UA, GA4), Facebook CAPI/Pixel, etc;
- Knowledge of the following tools MixPanel, ContentSquare, Amplitude, Segment (asset);
- Knowledge of the following CMS : Shopify, Prestashop, Magento, Wordpress, Wix (asset);
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Self-reliance and resourcefulness;
- Thoroughness and efficiency;
- Excellent command of spoken and written French and English.
